About Us

Miracles Among Us, Inc. is a new charity, created in June 2008.  This has been my goal for the last seven years when I suffered my brain injury in 2001.

Currently we are helping our friends in the South West Florida Area by offering information to the community, a support group & encouragement to those who really need it.  Our next goal is to be able to subsidize medical treatment for those that cannot afford what is needed.   Our dream is to eventually open a center where people can come for treatment and encouragement to recover, regardless of ability to pay.

We have huge goals for a small charity and will need help from the community to achieve these goals. 

There are miracles among us everyday.  You may be sitting next to someone that has recovered to the point that they just blend into society.  We appear to be just like everyone else but we are different.  We know what you are going through.  We have been there. 

As you read the stories of some of our members you will see that there is hope.  Recovery does not just come by itself.  You have to have faith in yourself and be willing to work hard to recover.  Recovery does not necessarily mean that you will be completely back to normal.  One of our goals is to help victims discover that they can have a life after brain injury.  Normal is a relative term, but you can still be happy again.
